Summer Theater Arts Program

The Garden Road School presents the Summer Theater Arts Programs for 2010.

Join us for an outdoor summer theater experience with:

Music • Dance • Theater • Art

taught by professional artists, for children ages 3-12 (preschool hours in week 1 only).

Monday through Friday, 9-3, $250.

July 12-16 TALKING HANDS TALKING FEET with Paul and Melanie Zeir, who are coming all the way from New Mexico to share their amazing work of integrating music and movement with meaningful curriculums that promote awareness of self, the natural worlds and world cultures.

There will be a performance for families and community members at the end of the week.
Open to preschoolers ages 3 & 4 for MWF morning sessions 9AM-12PM.

July 19-23 EXPERIENTIAL ART
This week children will develop their artistic skills through varied experiences of different media as well as explore their own unique expression. This week will culminate in an art show at the end of the week.

July 25-30 THEATER ARTS
This week is all about the theater arts and will include story telling, set design, theater exercises and games. Children will have the experience of putting on a play from script to performance. The week will end with a performance of their plays.
