Ages 5-12
9 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Art CampVisual Art with Lowry Reinauer and Diane Metviner
This week offers an exploration of visual art mediums and creative expression.  It will include the study of contemporary artists, and the processes of drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, print and mural making, and will culminate in the children’s own art show.

Dance CampModern Dance with Maria Colaco
Children are invited into the world of modern dance through a study of movement technique, and the basics of partnering.  The workshop will also explore improvisation, based on modern dance legend, Merce Cumnigham’s work with chance dance.  The children will create an original dance piece from the ground up.

Music CampMusic with Liz Nolf
Children will have an opportunity to create a band, discover their voice and explore the magical world of music.  We will explore rhythm and harmony, and discover the joy of making music as a group.  Each child should bring an instrument to play, which they should be physically capable of playing but do not need to be proficient at; the instrument could also be their voice, as we will need lead and backup singers.

Theater CampTheater with Terese Giammarco and Audi Wilken
Children will enjoy a week of theater games, music, set and costume design, and will star in an original play, with performances at the Martha Guinsberg Pavillion.
